Reverse
Queer, underground βραδιά electronic
Penarth Centre, 32 Ormside St, London SE15 1TR
The Berlin party launched at Säule, Berghain comes to London. Dedicated to women, trans and non-binary artists in the underground techno scene, REVERSE aims to recalibrate power and visibility within club culture. For this edition, REVERSE invites Tresor residents Kerrie, Chloe Lula and Ireen Amnes. Sharing the decks is Iranian-born DJ V.40, founder of the queer party Soma People. Kerrie, an Irish-born, Manchester-based multidisciplinary artist, is known for her work across DJing, live performance and production, delivering tough, high-energy sets shaped by over a decade of dedication to techno. Chloe Lula, a Berlin-based DJ and producer, brings an introspective and atmospheric approach, combining her background as a classical cellist with a driving, hypnotic sensibility rooted in the city’s club landscape. Ireen Amnes, founder of REVERSE, operates across techno and experimental sound, pushing boundaries between club music and more confrontational, leftfield forms through her wider work and her label Under My Feet. V.40’s sound draws on decades of engagement with electronic music, moving into hypnotic, industrial-leaning techno, where sensual grooves meet darker, ritualistic textures.
