Marking the centennial of John Coltrane's birth, Nathan Ott leads an intergenerational quartet inspired by the exploratory spirit and openness of Coltrane's late works. Rather than a conventional tribute playing classic tunes, the ensemble engages in dynamic improvisation and open dialogue, blending expressive saxophone lines, grounded bass work, and inventive drumming.
