Sixpence None the Richer staat bekend om hun kenmerkende mix van indierock en introspectieve songwriting. Met een prachtig geluid, dat wordt gedragen door de onmiskenbare zang van Leigh Nash en het complexe gitaarspel van Matt Slocum, weten ze het publiek tijdens hun liveoptredens volledig te boeien. Sixpence None the Richer, opgericht in 1992 door Matt Slocum en Leigh Nash in New Braunfels, Texas, heeft inmiddels een discografie met zes studioalbums en de recent uitgebrachte EP ' Rosemary Hill'. De band is wellicht het meest bekend om hun hitsingles, waaronder 'Kiss Me', die nummer 2 bereikte in de Billboard Hot 100 en in zestien landen in de top 10 stond, evenals 'There She Goes', 'Breathe Your Name' en 'Don’t Dream It’s Over'. De band verdween een tijd van het toneel, maar na hun reünie in 2024 begon de band aan een uitgebreide tournee. In 2025 bracht Sixpence None the Richer hun allereerste livealbum uit, 'Live at Gruene Hall'.
