Over four weekends this summer, the DURCHLÜFTEN music festival transforms the Schlüterhof at the Humboldt Forum into an open-air gathering place for global music and cultural exchange. Yalla Miku is a Geneva-based collective that weaves post-Kraut grooves, reimagined folklore, and electronic trance with musical traditions from the Horn of Africa. Their sound blends the krar, bass, percussion, electronics, and "UFO banjo," moving freely between post-punk, Afrofunk, dub, and Krautrock. The group embodies the tireless creativity of Geneva’s underground scene, where experimental sounds and migration stories collide on the dance floor.
