Originally coming from the DIY hardcore scene, Coilguns have crafted their own unique blend of punk and ecstatic noise-rock. The band's history is closely linked to guitarist Jona Nido’s Humus Records label, which supports a wide range of Swiss artists. While they previously self-produced their work, their fourth studio album was recorded at Oceansound Recordings in Norway with producer Scott Evans and mixed by Tom Dalgety. Coilguns are celebrated for their raw, high-energy live performances that cater to a dedicated following of dancing and crowd-surfing fans.
