As part of WorldPride Amsterdam, Kult Funktion hosts an evening at Doka, Volkshotel exploring the people shaping the future of nightlife beyond the dancefloor. Under the theme New Era Cultural Architects: Entrepreneurship, Empowerment & Community Building, Jean Pierre Fisher (Marimba), Juliana X (Kult Funktion) and Milou Zoer (Paardenrave) discuss independent cultural practice, sustainable community building and creating space for the next generation. The conversation is followed by a DJ set from Rotterdam selector Jewel and an open DJ booth inviting emerging artists to step behind the decks. Doka is an underground and intimate sound bar where nightlife, music and other forms of culture blend together.
