Melbourne songwriter Way Dynamic performs songs from his album Massive Shoe with support from Slippers. Tickets on Mood.
Way Dynamic, the solo project of Melbourne’s Dylan Young, presents music from the album Massive Shoe. The sound is a blend of minimalist folk-pop, art rock, and baroque pop, characterized by luminous textures and playful songwriting. Young, a veteran of the Melbourne scene known for his work with Cool Sounds and Good Morning, creates timeless songs that balance sentiment with whimsy. His work has earned praise from artists like Elton John and Waxahatchee’s Katie Crutchfield, the latter of whom has toured with the project.
