The XOK Xi and BLACKOUT series explore tension and release through three distinct live approaches to sound, moving across noise, industrial textures, ambient, spiritual jazz, electroacoustic experimentation, and leftfield electronics. Spingel works across industrial, noise, hypnotic, and experimental territories, building dense, unstable environments in real time through distortion and reverb. Trumpeter and sound artist Nathan Plante brings classical training into dialogue with experimental electronics, weaving trumpet, field recordings, and orchestral textures. Mykola Lebed combines saxophone, synthesizers, and field recordings at the intersections of ambient, spiritual jazz, and leftfield electronics.
