Drink The Sea ist weit mehr als ein All-Star-Projekt. Die Band vereint Musiker wie Peter Buck (R.E.M.), Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees), Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age) und Duke Garwood. Ihre Musik verbindet klassischen Rock mit Instrumenten wie Oud, Sitar und Gamelan zu einem organischen, globalen Sound. Nach der Veröffentlichung von zwei Alben im Jahr 2025 präsentiert die Gruppe ihre experimentelle Mischung aus neuen Songs und Klassikern ihrer früheren Bands erstmals live. Die Konzerte versprechen eine besondere Chemie, ergänzt durch visuelle Untermalungen des Filmemachers Tad Fettig.
