American indie pop singer, songwriter, and producer Kishi Bashi (born Kaoru Ishibashi) performs live. Originally from Seattle, Ishibashi is a classically trained violinist who has toured with artists such as Regina Spektor, Sondre Lerche, and of Montreal. He is also a founding member of the synth-pop band Jupiter One. Since launching his solo career in 2011, he has released acclaimed studio albums including 151a and has become known for his extensive touring and festival appearances. This performance at Kings Place follows a year after his last London appearance.
