Abdullah Miniawy presents a live performance developed with a flutist and a whistler. The work explores the temporal and expressive qualities of breath and wind, unfolding through a fragile interplay of voice and instruments. Drawing on bird calls and the tonal language of the Indian flute, the performance builds through imitation, repetition, and variation. Spanning music, poetry, and performance, Miniawy’s practice often engages with political voice and collective experience, shaped by his involvement in the Egyptian revolution and collaborations across experimental music contexts.
