The Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra marks its 20th anniversary with a special programme dedicated to the musical legacy of Brazilian music legend Hermeto Pascoal. Building on a successful 2015 collaboration in Berlin, the orchestra joins forces with Hermeto's Mothership—featuring long-time associates Itibere Zwarg, Fabio Pascoal, Andre Marques, Ajurina Zwarg, and Jota P.—alongside Hermeto's goddaughter, flutist Mariana Zwarg. The collaboration celebrates the immensely versatile body of work of Pascoal, who passed away in September 2025, blending traditional Brazilian music, jazz, odd time signatures, and forró dance beats.
