Few composers say so much with so little: György Kurtág, who celebrated his 100th birthday in February 2026, is a master of musical compression. In his Kafka Fragments, he created 40 miniature scenes from the writer's diary entries, letters, and notes – an imaginary theater about the essence of being human. Soprano Keren Motseri, who has demonstrated her impressive vocal expression several times at the Pierre Boulez Saal, interprets Kurtág's captivating work together with violinist Joseph Puglia.
