The Home Team, a dynamic Seattle-based quartet made up of Brian Butcher, John Baran, Ryne Olson, and Daniel Matson, came together through a series of perfect timings and genuine connection. Established in 2013 by Baran and Matson after their time in metal bands, The Home Team draws their roots from traditional pop-punk and metal while weaving in elements of R&B, pop, and funk. They’ve created what they call “heavy pop” – a sound that’s entirely their own.
