Nothing in Rambling draw influence from the 1920s and 30s delta and Louisiana blues, channelling the passion and playfulness of the great performers from that era. Featuring Sister Suzie and Andy Twyman, the duo performs music by artists such as Memphis Minnie, Blind Boy Fuller and Elmore James. Their emotional connection with the stories of early blues performers gives soul to the deep blues and gospel songs they perform. Joining them are Kaspar and Lucy, a collaboration between Kaspar Berry Rapkin and Lucy Piper. Their sound is rooted in the raw Mississippi Hill Country blues style and the hypnotic grooves of the juke joint.
