Berlin-based composer and performance artist Anna Lucia Nissen presents the debut album release concert for her solo project, ANYX. Transitioning from sculpture to sound, Nissen crafts songs with a focus on form and resonance, blending visceral vocal performances with drone atmospheres and sculptural staging. The album, Starlink, explores themes of alienation and ecology through minimal instrumentation involving pipe organ, synthesizers, and field recordings. The evening features collaborative performances with guest artists Andy Aquarius, a harpist known for his mystical folk and ambient soundscapes, and Kristof Hahn, the lap steel guitarist from Swans recognized for his expansive cinematic textures.
