Noah Ojumu is a London-based jazz drummer and composer whose quintet is defined by rhythmic melodies and dynamic interplay. For this performance, he presents a brand-new set of music composed specifically for this ensemble. His compositions draw on the groove-oriented music of his upbringing, merged with a passion for jazz and the avant-garde, resulting in a vibrant and exploratory sound. Noah has performed with ensembles such as Mark Kavuma Quartet and Nu Civilisation Orchestra, and has been influenced by the mentorship of Tom Challenger.
