Metric brings their All The Feelings Tour to the Brooklyn Paramount, featuring a lineup of Canadian indie-rock royalty with Broken Social Scene and Stars. Metric is a prominent synth-pop and new wave ensemble from Toronto, originally formed in 1998 by Emily Haines and James Shaw. Known for their polished electronic layering and indie-rock sensibilities, the band gained international acclaim with albums like Old World Underground, Where Are You Now? and the platinum-certified Live It Out. Their 2009 independent release Fantasies further solidified their success, earning multiple Juno Awards. The group has a long history of collaboration with their tour mates; Emily Haines and James Shaw are both long-time members of the Broken Social Scene collective, and Haines has deep musical roots with Amy Millan of Stars.
