This old-style jazz ensemble formed at the Cable Street studios in Limehouse and specializes in rags, blues, song-book foxtrots, and swing. Their diverse repertoire also includes waltzes, beguines, tangos, and polkas, with music spanning from the 1850s to the 1940s. The band's style incorporates the music of Django Reinhardt, drawing from the Manouche tradition, Eastern European influences, and Klezmer. They are also known for performing classic swing hits from the legendary Barry Sisters. The evening includes a pre-gig dance class with Lesta from Dis Swing Thing.
