Join us for »Fuça«, a sound performance by Brazilian flutist, sound artist, and researcher Marina Cyrino, accompanying the artist talk. Based in Berlin, she works across improvisation, composition, DIY instruments and performative installations. Her flute playing is shaped by techniques developed through the use of a hyper-amplification system, combined with a wide variety of DIY preparations, objects, toys and balloons attached to the instrument, challenging traditional acoustic constraints.
