Sounding Dutch Coloniality is an interdisciplinary conference exploring the intersection of music, sound, silence, and the history and present of Dutch coloniality. Organised by Utrecht University's IMPRODECO research project in partnership with ZOJazz Stage and Need for Legacy, the gathering brings together scholars, artists, and music industry figures. Alongside academic talks and discussions, the programme features live musical performances and interviews examining colonial power structures, resistance, and postcolonial memory.
