Bandoneonist Carel Kraayenhof and his ensemble explore the rhythmic connections between Argentine tango and the classical works of J.S. Bach. The program highlights how tango composers like Astor Piazzolla and Osvaldo Pugliese drew inspiration from classical fugues and Beethoven. Featuring pianist Juan-Pablo Dobal, the performance includes original compositions and the beloved tango classic Adiós Nonino.
