Xiomara Laugart, known as “The Voice of Cuba,” is a celebrated singer and cultural icon with a career spanning over three decades. Revered for her powerful, emotive voice and deep musicality, she has performed on the world’s most prestigious stages and recorded more than 17 albums. A muse of the Nueva Trova movement, Xiomara has collaborated with legends such as Omara Portuondo, Pablo Milanés, and Silvio Rodríguez, while seamlessly blending traditional Cuban music with jazz, soul, and contemporary styles. Now based in New York, she continues to inspire global audiences, frequently performing alongside her son, pianist Axel Tosca.
