Drummer and composer Devin Gray performs live. Known for his complex and highly structured music, Gray's work traverses terrains familiar to fans of contemporary classical and modern jazz. Despite its demanding nature, his compositions retain a human warmth and a funky, swinging undertow. Gray has consistently collaborated with top musicians from the New York new music scene, leading various ensembles that emphasize collective improvisation and conversational rhythmic interplay.
