‘Bird Talk’ is a new project celebrating the musical language of Charlie Parker through innovative compositions. The performance features new music created using a Dadaist cut-up technique applied to the Charlie Parker Omnibook, reassembling the legendary saxophonist's notes into fresh, defiant pieces that avoid being mere museum tributes. Recorded with minimal equipment to capture a raw, historical atmosphere, this collaboration showcases the inherent beauty and wisdom of Parker's improvisational legacy.
