Underground, ωμή βραδιά avant-garde
AEAEA, the duo of composer-guitarist Patrick Higgins and composer-producer Nicolás Jaar, performs their first-ever US concert at 314 Scholes in Brooklyn. Presented by MeanRed Productions as an Other People Label Night, the event marks the live premiere of AEAEA in Brooklyn. The duo resamples and reprocesses each other’s instruments in real time, building electro-acoustic environments that shift between composed melody and spontaneous texture. They are joined by cellist Mariel Roberts and percussionist Jeremy Gustin, alongside additional secret Other People artists making their North American live debuts.
