DESCENDANTS is a New York born, globally rooted Afro Inspired Electronic Music Events Platform where people come together for Afro House & Afro Tech. With events in Johannesburg, Nairobi, London, Amsterdam & beyond, DESCENDANTS has become an Afro House staple globally. Line-Up: We’re welcoming Durban born, South African Gqom & House icon, DJ Tira. With over 20 years of music releases. With tracks with the likes of DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, Goldmax & more, tracks like 'Palesa', 'Awungazi' and house classics such as 'Won't Let Go', his return to New York is set to be one for the ages. Joining him is Portuguese born, Cape Verdean rooted Danni Gato. A staple in the Lusophone Afro Tech scene, Danni has cemented himself as a true vessel, taking the sound to festivals and stages globally. The line-up is rounded out by Liberian DJ/Producer Val Fleury & DESCENDANTS core artists Meedy & Pizzi. DESCENDANTS welcomes all to an expressive environment free of judgement.
