DJ Swisha touches down in Cargo. A member of the influential Juke Bounce Werk crew and a Fool’s Gold Records signee, the drummer-turned-producer has carved out his own lane in New York’s underground with restless, rhythm-first club music. Opening the room is Maddylane, a New York-born DJ and producer with roots in Washington Heights and the Bronx. Her high-energy sets weave soulful R&B samples through house, techno, Latin rhythms, jungle, and club music. Deo’Jorge takes over Cargo, bringing raw force and a global perspective shaped by years of building dance floors from the ground up as founder of Brooklyn’s Hot Honey Sundays and Rio de Janeiro’s O/NDA. In the Foyer, Will Buck settles into a vinyl-driven mix of soulful house, deep grooves, and underground cuts. Closing out the Foyer, Karl Blanchard draws on more than a decade behind the decks with a wide-ranging mix of house, Afro house, dance, and electronic music.
