Matthew Herbert

Matthew Herbert occupies a unique position in contemporary electronic music, where composition, critical thought, and club culture converge into a single discourse. As a producer, DJ, and conceptual reference, his work transcends genres to explore sound from a political, experimental, and deeply musical perspective. In the booth, his approach moves away from formulas to build intentional sets where house, abstract textures, and narrative integrate into a language of his own. A key figure redefining the boundaries between electronic music, art, and cultural context.
