Lea Desandre & Thomas Dunford

Mezzo-soprano Lea Desandre joins the Jupiter Orchestra and lutenist Thomas Dunford for a performance at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. The program features baroque works by Telemann, Handel, Lully, and others. Desandre and Dunford, who first met through William Christie’s Jardin des Voix, have become a renowned duo in the baroque world. Following her success as a 'Révélation artiste lyrique' at the Victoires de la Musique Classique and her acclaimed portrayal of Charpentier’s Médée at the Paris Opera, Desandre returns to her roots with the Jupiter ensemble to explore assertive characters from the French and Italian baroque pantheon.
