Stacey Kent is an award-winning American jazz singer known for her elegant interpretations of swing staples and the Great American Songbook. Originally from New Jersey, she moved to England to study jazz at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Since her debut album in 1997, she has released numerous acclaimed projects including Fred Astaire tributes and French-language recordings, collaborating frequently with her husband, saxophonist Jim Tomlinson.
