Born in Argentina to tango singer Horacio Molina and actress Chunchuna Villafañe, Juana Molina spent part of her youth in exile in Paris listening to international radio broadcasts that broadened her artistic horizons. After returning to Argentina, she became one of the country's most prominent comedic television performers before stepping away from acting at the peak of her popularity to focus entirely on her musical career.
