Νοσταλγική, underground βραδιά klezmer
Herbert-von-Karajan-Straße 1, Berlin
She’Koyokh from London is dedicated to the rich folk music traditions of Eastern Europe, the Balkans, and Turkey. From their beginnings as street musicians to becoming an internationally acclaimed ensemble, they perform Klezmer melodies, Anatolian love songs, Bosnian chants, and dance music ranging from Serbia to Ukraine. These performances evoke a world of melancholy and longing, centered around the passionate and gentle voice of Alevi-Kurdish singer Çiğdem Aslan. The ensemble's name is derived from Yiddish, meaning "well done."
The performance features the London-based ensemble She'Koyokh joined by Alevi-Kurdish vocalist Çiğdem Aslan.
This performance is hosted at the Kammermusiksaal, located at Herbert-von-Karajan-Straße 1 in Berlin.
