After expanding from Melbourne to Amsterdam, Ikigai invites Berlin-based Franziska Berns to the warehouse. Finding the space between house and techno with fluid precision, Franziska is a long-time resident of Offenbach club Robert Johnson and has recently been heard at Berghain’s Panorama Bar. For an extended 3.5-hour opening set, Ikigai co-founder Kithers goes head-to-head with Berlin-based DJ Royston Bassmann. Moving through early-2000s house, electro and hazy mind-benders, the pair will ease the floor into motion.
