Improfest Berlin marks the first Berlin edition of the Brazilian Improfest (Festival Internacional de Improvisação e Arte Sonora), presented in collaboration with exploratorium berlin. Curated by Paulo Hartmann, the event explores the intersection of experimental music, free improvisation, network teleperformance, and custom instrument building, centered around the legacy of Hans Reichel. The program features lutherie showcases, a roundtable discussion, a tele-improvisation performance by the Ethernet Orchestra with Alexander Carôt, as well as duo and quartet sets.
