Renowned British jazz vocalist Claire Martin reunites with Sweden's Martin Sjöstedt Trio, returning to the classic piano trio format. A winner of the British Jazz Awards eight times, Martin brings her thoughtful interpretations and musicianship to a set of imaginative new arrangements crafted specifically for this project. The collaboration blends contemporary repertoire with deep roots in the jazz tradition, showcasing the chemistry between Martin and the Uppsala-born pianist. Over a career spanning more than thirty years, Claire Martin has performed with jazz legends such as Kenny Barron and Stéphane Grappelli, and was awarded an OBE for Services to Jazz in 2011. This performance features the Martin Sjöstedt Trio, led by pianist and arranger Martin Sjöstedt alongside bassist Mark Hodgson and drummer Matt Skelton.
