City of the Sun
New York instrumental collective City of the Sun brings its cinematic, genre-defying sound to Bucharest for the first time. Blending indie rock, flamenco, folk, blues, and global influences, the band creates immersive performances where every melody tells a story without the need for words. Formed in 2011, the group has built a cult following around the globe through their captivating live energy and worldly sound, often compared to a mix between Rodrigo y Gabriela and Explosions in the Sky. Following the release of their new album, Under the Moon, the band arrives in Romania as part of their European tour. Expect an evening of evocative, boundary-crossing music that feels both intimate and expansive, showcasing the group's musicianship and ability to create instrumental tracks that speak directly to the listener.
