Freshlyground are finally back. The band that once became the sound of a new South Africa returns with a completely renewed energy and a powerful new voice at the front. Historically known for their collaboration on "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)" and their MTV Award-winning hits, the band remains a symbol of the Rainbow Nation's search for a unified sound. Now the story continues with Mbali Makhoba, an outstanding 20-year-old singer who steps up as the new lead voice, honoring the band’s history while opening a new chapter. Their new album "Take Me Home", produced by multi-Grammy winner JB Arthur, features recent singles like "Jabula" and "Welele".
