Sullow and Resonant Bodies perform together to explore the affinities between their distinct approaches to free-folk. Sullow is an improvising trio featuring Jacken Elswyth, Daniel S. Evans, and Joshua Barfoot. Influenced by traditional music, their style consists of momentary compositions with rapid attacks and dense bursts of sound. Resonant Bodies is a duo consisting of Rob Bentall on nyckelharpa and Zebedee Budworth on hammered dulcimer. They create free-flowing, improvised folk music that focuses on the raw, tonal harmonies of their ancient instruments.
