A bold reminder of the physics of cinema.Photography, performances, sound design, score, editing, all working together incredibly well to pull the viewer into this nightmare world.It's one hell of a feature debut.Our cat stepped on the keyboard in that first sentence and I like it.
The poster and premise for this had me very intrigued ever since I saw it a while ago. Glad I finally checked it out. Really solid debut. Takes a little to get going, but once it does, it takes you on this intense and harrowing ride into this nightmare of a situation. Just pure evil. That final act is something else. Definitely takes a lot from other films, but never feels like it is ripping them off. Wears its influences on its sleeve for sure. Love the look of it. More people should check this out!2025 Ranked
