Starting your morning with a film like this is enough to make your whole day feel a little brighter. Here I am at university, five hours after watching it and its scenes are still playing in my head as if a little of its tenderness stayed with me, as if some part of me never quite left the film behind.Such a gentle, gentle film warm in a way that makes you wish you could stay in its world just a little longer. I was touched by the tenderness with which it approached its characters, giving each of them the space to simply be themselves with all the pain, fear and feelings they struggle to put into words. I find it deeply beautiful to meet someone who sees beyond your suffering, someone who offers you enough kindness to make you feel that you never have to hide your pain to deserve their company, someone whose mere presence makes the world feel a little less lonely, and the days that weigh heavily on your heart a little easier to bear.Perhaps the gentlest gifts life gives us are the souls we stumble upon when we least expect it, only to find in their presence a sense of peace we never realised how much we had missed. With them our vulnerability feels like a safe place to rest and we begin to understand that we deserve tenderness even on the days when we struggle to offer any to ourselves. What a beautiful, delicate story, There is something so lovely about carrying a film with you into the rest of your day, letting it leave a little warmth in your heart and a little more love and kindness in the way you see others.
