I know that this movie is supposed to be a punchline or whatever, but I like the dancing, I like the bondage-punk-goes-hip-hop fashion, and as dopey and low-rent as everything about it is, I can't help but be charmed by its enthusiasm and optimism.

Breakin’ 2 comes highly recommended unless you’re deathly afraid of mimes. Especially breakdancing mimes named Magician. If you do sit down to watch one of the best sequels in cinema history, here’s some other things you can expect:- Almost wall-to-wall dancing, including one fantastic sequence involving a rotating room- People randomly coming out of hospital closets and acting like it’s a normal place to hangout- Ice-T dressed like he’s in an Italian post-apocalyptic Mad Max knock off- So. Much. Neon. - You’ll learn the power of break dancing saves lives, heals a leg in what appears to be several days, brings neighborhoods together, and saves a community center. Unfortunately, racism seems immune to its charms. 10 out of 10, no notes.
