“Who said anything about God?”I’m not a huge fan of possession movies, but I have to say, this one worked for me. The one shot filming was a great way to tell this story. I loved when the camera was tucked behind a wall or something like that, felt like another character that didn’t want to be seen. It really helped build tension and suspense. Rather enjoyed the story of this as well. It is not original at all, but it was better than what most other possession movies try to do. I was invested with the Ex-Husband and Evelyn’s story. I want more back story on what they were involved in! Some things fell a little flat, but overall this was a surprise for me.
Dann zieht euch BURY THE DEVIL rein. Not in the mood to wait forever for the next EVIL DEAD movie? Then go watch BURY THE DEVIL. It’s a well-crafted one-shot horror flick that’s perfect for a quick fix. The cinematography is great, it’s creative, and it remains deeply atmospheric from start to finish. The intensity really cranks up towards the end, and the whole thing escalates into absolute, glorious madness. Punchy, intense, and exactly what fans of roller-coaster horror need.

Yes, it centers on themes of possession and demonic influence within a contained environment.
