My friend pointed out that this passes the "Bechdel test." I'm going to pretend I don't know what that is and assume that it's the test in which a stuntwoman is strapped to the outside of a speeding car as it hits small ramps and swerves in and out of traffic. In that case, yes it passes. With flying colors.

Robert Z’Dar walking through a plate glass door and opening fire on a fully packed police station with the door’s Christmas wreath still stuck to his face is why these movies are just the best. Then there’s the handcuffed-to-the-steering-wheel-of-a-runaway-car scene, the insane prison break-in, goofy ass Serpico the stripper killer, dudes getting catapulted through cinder block walls, an end credits rap song that summarizes the whole movie, and perhaps the most batshit impressive fire stunt I’ve ever witnessed, all combining to make this a very worthy and somehow more nutso follow-up to one of the most underrated genre pieces of the 1980s. A bombastic rigamarole of crazy shenanigans that still never forgets it’s also a thought-provoking Lustig/Cohen joint.
