Oh this was a glorious hot mess of a film that takes some crazy turns that leave you just head scratching in the best possible way if you love some insane story action. This hits the ground running with a woman with a neck-growth that needs to be removed but alas we come to a cross with what if it doesn't want to be removed?! Why... maybe cause it's do to an ancient medicine doctor trying to be reborn to achieve new power. Now we have Tony Curtis a "Psychic" trying to save an old flame from flaming out so to speak as a spirit tries to birth from her neck. Honestly me telling it doesn't do it justice and really has to be seen to be believed cause this just breaks all the needles of logic and is completely bonkers but trust me it is engaging for it's ridiculous nature. from set design to story elements and character portrayal this is a hospital bed bedlam that keeps you entertained with it's absurdist logic that I have to say was well worth checking out. Shout out to Johnny81 for his excellent review and his recommendation. It truly is a fun trashy gem!

Full fledged 70’s insanity—loaded with everything you’d expect to see in a bonkers genre jam of that era yet managing to be unexpected with its delivery while successfully churning out plenty of wtf moments. Tony Curtis as a hack tarot card reader rules, that Lalo score (!!!!) is amazing, and that finale is a real dingwhopper that needs to be seen to believed! I love Abby... but I think this might be Girdler’s masterpiece?

this might be one of the strangest 70s horror films i've seen, which would normally be a good thing, but there are so many extremely slow scenes that are keeping me from giving this a higher rating. i will say that the last 30 or so minutes are absolutely wild and make it worth sitting through all of the scenes that almost put me to sleep, but i'm not sure i would ever come back to this.
