Ο Τρίνιτι (Τέρενς Χιλ), ένας περιπλανώµενος καουµπόι, φτάνει στην πόλη όπου ο ετεροθαλής αδερφός του, Μπαµπίνι (Μπαντ Σπένσερ), έχει αναλάβει κάπως ανορθόδοξα τα καθήκοντα του σερίφη… Στην πόλη αυτή, τα δύο παράνοµα αδέρφια θα βρεθούν να υπερασπίζονται τον οικισµό των Μορµόνων που κινδυνεύει από µία συµµορία Μεξικανών φυγάδων. Οι κάτοικοι του οικισµού δεν έχουν τη δύναµη να αντισταθούν, ο Τρίνιτι και ο Μπαµπίνο όµως λειτουργούν σύµφωνα µε το µωσαϊκό νόµο «οφθαλµός αντί οφθαλµού» και δε λένε να το βάλουν κάτω, έστω και αν την κυριαρχία της πολύτιµης κοιλάδας επιθυµεί ακόµα µία συµµορία παρανόµων.

Infamously considered the death of the Spaghetti Western and the birth of the goofy comic variation on the genre, it indisputably does feel like a pretty light and shallow affair in comparison to anything one of the three Sergio's was making around this time (Leone, Corbucci, Sollima) but there's still some fun to be had with how it incorporates the Hollywood slapstick energy into its sequences. Good buddy chemistry between Hill and Spencer, fantastic theme (many will recognize from Django Unchained), some nice colors and scope framing. Instead of violent shootouts with existential dread it ends in an extended gag-filled brawl with fists and and kicks and cooking pan whacks, there are even POV shots of fists going into cameras. In the end I'm a pretty simple man, I laugh when a fat bearded cowboy straight up tossing other dudes around like rag dogs in front of a half constructed Mormon church.
No question, Trinity has the best character entrance in cinematic history
