Hackney Empire is a historic Grade II* listed theatre in East London, originally opened in 1901 as a music hall. Designed by architect Frank Matcham, the venue hosts a wide variety of performances ranging from theatre and comedy to live music and dance in an ornate, gilded auditorium.
