DONT MIND THE BASS

We are Consciously[UN]Comfortable with the state of the world (and have been for a while) - painfully aware at this point. We believe that social boundaries need to be pushed and our society needs a reminder to lead their lives with LOVE and not FEAR. To enable this freedom of being, we are creating a series of events and interactions (safe spaces) that breed this culture in our communities - ultimately promoting freedom of expression while still respecting that of others! Our first Amsterdam installment of DONT MIND THE BASS (DMTB) sees a fun and energetic way of doing just that! DMTB is a music event born and bred in Cape Town, South Africa (2012) where the bass music culture has been thriving for many decades. It brings all individuals and arts together, and culminates into energetic nights of connecting bodies to the music, enabling minds to vibrate at a higher frequency and we get lost in the sounds of multiple bass music genres. Art & Artist celebration is our destination and the Music is our guide!! On the night a variety of music genres and contemporary art installations will be on exhibit, allowing your body and mind to freely express itself while flowing to the dubstep, UKF grime, bass house, garage, jungle & drum n bass frequencies.
