Jason D. Harris, a St. Louis-born and Los Angeles-based hip-hop artist, presents a special headlining performance and the launch of his debut album, "The Strange City of BLINGVILLE". Known for his blend of conscious hip-hop, soulful R&B, and live instrumentation, Harris is backed for this show by the dynamic band The Juice Joint. A Recording Academy member and creator of the Beat School For Kids, Harris has worked as a playback engineer for major artists including Kid Cudi, Lupe Fiasco, and Jennifer Lopez. All proceeds from this event will be donated to his music education program, Beat School For Kids, supporting youth creative empowerment and social-emotional learning throughout Los Angeles.
