Join the duo of Lucien Ricard and Marius Lenoble, two musicians from the new Parisian jazz scene, for an intimate dialogue between trumpet and piano. Anchored in jazz tradition yet resolutely contemporary, their music is driven by a shared demand for listening and freedom. Lucien Ricard's lyrical playing, recently noted for his project Enlightenment on Maeght Records, finds a natural echo in Marius Lenoble's sensitive and inventive piano. Inspired by great standards as well as free improvisation, the duo explores a repertoire where each piece becomes a space for conversation. Without a rhythm section, the music gains proximity and spontaneity, leaving full room for interaction and the present moment.
